Employers have a general duty of care to provide safe conditions in workplaces, this includes construction sites.
The undertaking of health and safety inspections/audits and publishing the findings to employees are essential steps in monitoring and managing health and safety compliance and ensuring safe conditions are being provided and maintained in accordance with the appropriate Legislation.
On a construction project your client may request that regular site inspections/audits are undertaken throughout a project as a contractual requirement.
After an inspection or audit is carried out the client will receive a full written report, anything which we feel needs immediate action we will inform the client and individual concerned ( if agreed appropriate ) whilst on the site and support this with practical guidance.
